Contents page flat plan
This is my contents page flat plan I designed it by looking at the conventions of typical music magazines. I wanted to make my contents page A3 as then I could fit images and more content in it. My inspiration has come from a rang of magazines but a magazine I have looked at in depth is NME; I like how it was simple and informational but also was very eye catching due to colours and positioning of images.
By splitting my contents page into two sections this meant I could have two main images this would make it more interesting. I plan to have have my main background image on the left hand side of the page as this is the page that is briefly looked at, then on the right hand side im going to have my second background image but im going to have it set to a low opacity so that the main content and text of the contents page can go over the top. I came up with this idea when I was on photo shop trying to make a flat plan. I imputed my image onto a blank canvas then I lowered the opacity; I then liked the idea of having text over an image and it worked so I used it for my contents page and features page.
